Our Season of Hope Luncheon was on Wednesday 3/25. It was more than a fundraiser. It was a room full of people choosing to show up for neighbors who don’t have access to care. |
At one point, Dr. Kia Parsi, a local physician, Director of the Rural Health Institute, and an incredible magician and mentalist, invited more than ten people in the audience to help him. Each had a different deck of cards. After all the shuffling, every single person ended up holding the same card, the two of hearts. I still don’t know how he did it, and honestly, I’m okay leaving it as magic. There’s research showing that when people share a powerful live experience, their heart rates and breathing can start to sync. Sitting in that room, it felt like that was exactly what was happening. Three hundred people aligned in the same purpose, making sure our neighbors can access care. That’s what this community makes possible. Because of your support, our doors stay open for people who would otherwise fall through the cracks. Every appointment, every prescription, every moment of care is made possible by people like you. About Health For All
Health For All is a nonprofit community health clinic in Bryan, founded in 1987. We provide free primary and preventive medical and dental care to low-income individuals who lack health insurance and do not qualify for government healthcare programs.
